Return & Exchange

Please note that refunds are only applicable for online orders. In-store purchases qualify for exchange or store credit only.

If you would like to return your Routleys purchase we will be pleased to offer the option of an exchange or store credit, providing that:

a) the item is unwashed, unworn and has not been altered in any way; and
b) the item is returned within 14 days of the original purchase date for in store purchases, or within 30 days of original purchase date for online orders; and
c) you are able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase (see below); and
d) the merchandise is in saleable condition, that is it is unworn or unused with all original sealed packaging or tags attached and where the product seal is not broken or tampered; and
e) the item is returned neatly folded free of marks or excessive creasing of garment.
f) the item is free of dust or animal hair.
g) the item is not subject to the exclusions listed below.

Our team members will assess the item to determine whether a refund will be offered in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please note that delivery costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns or exchanges.

Proof Of Purchase

Refunds or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents for change of mind:

* Original register receipt tax invoice (electronic or photograph will be accepted)
* Online Tax Invoice (order confirmations will not be accepted)
* Packing slip included in all online purchases and click & collect
* Original return/exchange receipt/gift receipt
Please note that our team members are not responsible for proving your purchase. You must supply the proof of purchase, which our team members can validate.

Exclusion List:

Please choose carefully when purchasing merchandise designated as a clearance item (either marked as CLEARANCE or SALE) as change of mind returns will not be accepted for clearance items.

Returns will not be provided on the following types of merchandise:

i) Altered products.
ii) Items marked as SALE or CLEARANCE.
iii) Underwear & Socks.
iv) Fragrances, Lotions or Toiletries.

Refunds, Exchanges and Store Credits

Please note that in store purchases qualify for exchange or store credit only. Refunds are not offered on purchases from Routleys Launceston or Routleys Hobart, only purchases from routleys.com.au within 30 days of purchase.

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Routleys customers are entitled to an exchange or store credit for any item that is considered to have a major fault. Faulty items purchased online are also entitled to receive a refund on shipping costs paid, including the cost of returning the item to Routleys. Such refunds can only be processed using the original method of payment.

Please note that refunds are only applicable for online orders, and can only be processed using the original method of payment. In all other cases, we are happy to offer an exchange or a credit note amounting to the value of the product and not including postage costs.
